About

The Regional Center for Studies on the Development of the Information Society (Cetic.br) at Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br) has been conducting the Annual Workshop on Survey Methodology since 2011, co-organized by the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE) of the Brazilian Institute for Geography and Statistics (IBGE), will be held from August 28 to August 31, 2023, in São Paulo/SP – Brazil. The event includes lectures, short courses with interactive activities, practical examples, and case studies, and aims to discuss emerging topics on survey methods for data production, primarily in the field of ICT.

The 13th edition of the workshop will focus on the new landscape of data production, ecosystem, and governance. It will explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the context of new data sources, collection methods, and tools based on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning algorithms.

Subway and Train
The train station that is closest to the meeting venue is Berrini, that’s part of Line 9 (Emerald). The Line 9 has acess to Subway Line 4 (Yellow) in Pinheiros Station, and to Subway Line 5 (Lilac) in Santo Amaro Station.
